GYM NEWS: Remember that classes today are at 6am, 9:30am & 12:00pm

Well it’s the last day of 2021 everyone and we’re going to finish it up with a  partner workout. It’s definitely been a year of challenge and change I’m sure 2022 is going to be a lot of the same. Let’s keep taking steps forward and at some point we’ll have taken enough steps that we’ll leave these past two years behind us with a few lessons learned.

40 Hang Power Cleans
40 Burpee Box Jumps 20/24″
40 T2B
40 Thrusters
40 Ring Dips
40 Kcal ECHO bike

RX: 65/95#
Intermediate: 55/75#
Beginner: 45/55#

Today’s workout is a partner workout where only one person works at a time. The goal is for the two of you to collectively get to 40 reps of each movement together before moving on to the next. Keep in mind that the work DOES NOT need to be shared 100% equally. If you’re newer at Starke and you’re paired up with a veteran, let them set the pace. If you start to slow down with the movements and “grind them out”, switch and let your partner go to work. Working together and quick transitions is what it’s all about.

The ECHO bikes should all be set up on the turf and be ready for first come, first served. If all the bikes are in use when you’re ready to jump on one, go back to your hang power cleans until bike opens up then pick up on the cleans when you get off the bike.
