Deadlift 5×5 with 2-second pause between each rep.
Build to a working weight then begin your six sets…
Athletes have 18 working reps and probably another 18-24 reps of warm-upp” reps to have technique dialed in and get coached.
The reason for the 2 second pause between each rep is so athletes can work on that initial pull from the ground, use perfect form, keep a flat back and NOT use momentum from bouncing or “touch and go reps”
