GYM NEWS: We’re excited to be offering in person classes (indoors) beginning tomorrow, Monday June 28th with a regular schedule once again. We couldn’t be happier to welcome you all back… like for the third time… and hopefully the last time 🙂
If you’ve taken some time off, please pace yourselves and take some time getting back into the groove again. Don’t pick up where you left off or you’ll be pretty sore for quite a while. The less active you’ve been during lockdown, the slower you should take it.
Come prepared to train in a group, get coached and have fun. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you and happy that the Starke Gain Train is on the move again.

E3M – 8
1 Squat Clean + 2 Front Squats @ 32X2 Tempo.
For part A. we’ll be getting under a bar with some squat cleans from the hang or the ground followed by some tempo squats. Weights will be limited as the tempo will keep you under tension for some additional time to help work on mechanics and positioning.
AMRAP – 12
10 Hang Squat Cleans
10 Push Ups
10 Box Jump Overs
“Fire Fight” is a medium distance AMRAP with three movements shat you should be able to pace yourself and go unbroken on. Cleans should not be broken up and can be done with a barbell, DB’s or KB’s. Push ups should be measurable and repeatable so pick a method that you can use for the whole workout. There should only be one break in the push ups if needed.
