Workout Intentions: Part A is a strength portion that will be performed from the rack. Rep three should be challenging. Next week we will be doing 5×3 push press, and the following week will be 5×3 push jerk.

Part B  is a reverse pyramid, starting and finishing with the highest reps. DB snatches should be at a weight that is doable unbroken, although you may choose to break up the sets of 30 into 2 sets. Pace the bbjo so you can continue moving. Be conservative at the start of the second round as the reps go up. Aim for comparable times on both rounds.
