Time Cap: 20 Minutes
Part A. Is a little prep and primer for some overhead squats. If you’re limited with a solid overhead position, perform front squats instead. Mechanics are more important than load so make sure you’re moving well before adding more weight. PRO TIP: Control your descent in down phase of the squat rather than dropping it like it’s hot.
Part B.
Athletes should aim to complete this workout at a consistent threshold pace. Choose a weight where you can complete every round of overhead squats unbroken.

Always Pressing
Today we want athletes to “always be pressing” the bar throughout the overhead squat rep. Maintaining an active shoulder by constantly pressing up into the bar will improve athlete’s stability and safety in the OHS.
