To celebrate Paul’s birthday we have put in place Starke’s first official statutory holiday. Come in and hit a fun holiday workout. Part A will be a 20 minute build to find a heavy weight for the complex. Use your clean grip for the deadlifts as you should be going right into your clean from the two deadlifts. Part B will be done with a partner. You will be doing 1980m on the rower as a buy in, splitting the work however you want. After that you will have 5 rounds of the workout to complete. Partner wall balls will be wall balls that you pass back and forth between your partner, meaning you will on be doing half of them. Partner deadlifts will be you and your partner on the same bar with a little more weight than normal. For buddy-over-burpees one partner will be lying on the ground while the other does burpees over them. This can be split up however you would like. Last up is a 200m partner carry to the gate and back. This can also be done however you want, meaning you can force your partner to carry you the entire way if you can’t lift them. You can also use a sandbag for this, or use kettlebells and do front rack or farmer carries instead. For those of you opting to carry your partner, you can carry them in whatever matter is the most comfortable, or most uncomfortable if that is what you’re into. Let’s have some fun!!
